Ranald Lawrence has completed a series of paintings of the Norwegian coast in winter, inspired by a recent trip where he conducted research on the work of the Norwegian architect Sverre Fehn. His essay Building on the Horizon: The Architecture of Sverre Fehn, can be read here.

The website has been updated with Ranald's portfolio of still life work to accompany his landscape paintings. These would make ideal pieces for dining rooms, cafes or restaurants, and are painted in the same vibrant colours inspired by the surrounding Scottish landscape.
